Drone Warfare and the Future of Global Governance - 22 April 2014

On 22 April 2014, GGI and Vesalius College, in partnership with Flimmer Film, will be hosting the prerelease of the documentary DRONE, along with a round table discussion between experts & and an interactive Q&A Session.

DRONE is a comprehensive investigation by award-winning Director Tonje Hessen Schei into the consequences of drone warfare. It explores the recruitment of young pilots at gaming conventions and the changing definition of “going to war”. moral stances of engineers behind the technology. It sheds light on the world leaders giving their secret goahead to engage in the biggest targeted killing program in history, thus drawing into question violations of civil liberty, and documenting the fight of individuals for transparency, accountability and justice.
